As the Director of Starlight Academy, Ms. Sukhman brings a lifelong passion for early childhood education and a deep personal connection to the program. Her journey with the daycare began in 2013, when it was founded in her family’s home. Growing up surrounded by children and witnessing Mrs. A’s unwavering dedication to nurturing each child with the same love and care as their parents instilled in her a profound appreciation for the impact of quality childcare.

This early exposure ignited Ms. Sukhman’s passion for teaching and fostering growth in young minds. She pursued her Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Early Childhood Education to further her knowledge and skills. Over the past year, she has been thrilled to apply what she’s learned, working tirelessly to create an enriching, engaging, and supportive program tailored to the unique needs of every child.

Ms. Sukhman is committed to ensuring that Starlight Academy remains a place where children feel genuinely loved, valued, and encouraged to grow into their fullest potential.
